Katharina Busch grew up in a musical family in the south of Bavaria. She started early playing the piano and xylophone, before she began producing electronic music as a teenager. It was during that time Katharina discovered her passion for singing. After completing her hotel management studies, she set out on a journey to travel the world. „I am a curious person and I love to pack my bags and leave, not knowing what to expect.”
Katharina worked in different hotels in Ireland and Switzerland, spent six months on the Bermudas serving sushi and travelled with her guitar for another six months through South America. When she finally settled down in Zurich hundreds of song ideas eventually turned into her first album „Ten Hours On A Bus“ which she released in 2014.
Two years later her second album “Blue Silver Diamond Light” followed. Katharina mixed colors of folk, pop, and jazz to tell her stories. After two albums in English Katharina started her first project in her native tongue German – an EP entitled “Neue Worte, neuer Wind,” released in 2019.
